About Me
Hi, I’m Heather McDonald, founder of Simplify Wellness.
As a NASM Certified Personal Trainer, NCI Certified Nutrition Coach, and experienced Physical Therapist Assistant, I help people break free from the overwhelm of fitness and nutrition information so they can build sustainable, healthy lifestyles.
For over a decade, I was a snowboarding coach, helping athletes build confidence, strength, and skill. But behind the scenes, I struggled with yo-yo dieting, a poor relationship with food, and body image issues—constantly chasing quick fixes that never truly worked. It wasn’t until I shifted my focus to sustainability, nourishment, and strength that I finally found freedom from the cycle of restriction and frustration.
Now, I combine my personal experience with professional knowledge to help others do the same. Whether you’re looking to fuel your body properly, regain strength after an injury, or finally create a lifestyle that works for you, I provide the education, support, and accountability you need to make lasting changes.
